Ben McAdoo Is Looking Sharp During His First Day Of Training Camp As Giants Head Coach
Benny Mac, you dog you! While I’m over here fretting about a first-time head coach taking over for a two-time Super Bowl champion head coach, you are showing up to your first day of camp looking as disheveled as ever. And you know what? I LOVE IT! While all the other coaches are pressing their khakis and looking fresh in the nicest threads the NFL Shop has to offer, BMac was coaching his dick off to make the Beckham/Cruz/Shepard/Tye conglomerate the greatest show on whatever you call that MetLife turf while still rocking that ridiculous haircut and dressing like a teenager. I’d rather have a head coach that is a million times more worried about scheming against the Cowboys in Week 1 than what he is wearing. The NFL is a copycat league and our boy Benny is doing his best to copy the GOAT.
And just a quick reminder to not just Giants fans, but NFL fans as a whole. Basically only bad things can happen in training camp and the preseason. Sure you may find a gem like the Giants once did with Victor Cruz. But there are wayyyy too many things that can go wrong during the next month and a half. Injuries. Suspensions. God knows what else. But since we are all so football starved, we forget this every year. So this is your #staywoke warning.
P.S. Seriously, when are we going to see what Ben McAdoo looks like in Madden? Someone has to have an advanced copy, right? The suspense is killing me.
